I’m Chris Tambos, a two-time founder and former Fortune 500 Data & AI executive. For 30+ years I’ve built data, AI, and operational-intelligence systems inside Morgan Stanley, Flo Technologies / Moen, and Fortune Brands Innovations, and delivered data and AI strategy for clients including Allstate. That work taught me where AI actually creates value, and where it quietly stalls.
The pattern repeats across every industry I’ve worked in: the models are rarely the constraint. Value stalls in the operating system of the business: the connected data, the workflows, and the decision loops where outcomes are actually made. Most companies try to grow the visible part. I build the operating intelligence underneath it, where the leverage compounds.
As an operational AI advisor and fractional Chief AI Officer, I provide executive-level leadership and value-realization oversight: diagnosing where AI can move margin, growth, or velocity, prioritizing the bets that matter, and operationalizing them into the way the business runs.
